Sagra

Sagra is a lovely traditional village in the Orba Valley in the beautiful Northern Costa Blanca.  

The hub of the village remains much the same as it has through history with the Town Hall and the Church supporting the community  Throughout the year the village comes together to celebrate annual fiestas with the largest being held in August and the most unusual in February when all of the animals in the community - big and small - receive their blessing.

The lovely countryside and surrounding orange groves provide many pleasant walks and the picnic and bbq area above the village offers stunning views across the valley.

Local amenities include a primary school, playgrounds, municipal swimming pool and sports facilities as well as restaurants and a bar.  Local shops include a pharmacy, butchers, general store, bakery, fruit and veg store and a post office.  There is also a local bus service to Denia and the La Marina shopping centre at Ondara.
